The Association of Christian Therapeutic Schools and Services (ACTSAS)
was founded in January, 2012 at a gathering of therapeutic schools in
Seale, Alabama at the Teen Challenge International Conference Center.
The purpose of the association is to provide standards and verification
of those standards for member organizations as a means of providing
assurance to future residents or users of those services. Other
purposes of the association include providing a structure for
cooperatively dealing with issues that can adversely affect member
organizations, as well as a platform for training, idea sharing and
encouragement to member organizations.
